Building PCManFM from source Issue
I am trying to build PCManFM on Ubuntu but the compile keeps failing out with this message in terminal: pcmanfm.c: In function ‘unix_signal_handler’: pcmanfm.c:108: warning: ignoring return value of ‘write’, declared with attribute warn_unused_result pcmanfm.c: In function ‘on_unix_signal’: pcmanfm....

Split Screen View in PCManFM
Does PCManFM support a split screen view for easily going between two different folders? For example in nautilus it looks like this:

Autorun command on LXDM Login
Howdy All, So I am using LXDM with an Enlightenment desktop and I am having one small issue! For some reason when I have LXDM set to auto login my E17 startup applications do not run. However when I manually login to an Enlightenment desktop from LXDM my E17 applications launch just fine. I was wond...

Autologin with LXDM?
Howdy All, I was wondering how I can toggle auto-login while using LXDM. I add the line [base] autologin=jeff to my /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf file but that did not do the trick. What do I need to do to enable auto login? EDIT: Per advice I found here for Lubuntu I also added the above line to my /etc/xdg/...

Re: Assistive Technologies under LXDE
At this point we are not ready to provide all the assistive technologies you would need. It is on our longer term work plan but right now I think you would be better off running Gnome. I wish there were a better answer. I will make an announcement when these features are ready for beta and maybe yo...

Assistive Technologies under LXDE
I need assistive technologies to work on my laptop, however I also want LXDE on said laptop. Is there a way I can run assistive technologies under LXDE? When I run "mouse tweaks" it tells me it needs to log me out to enable assistive technologies, however when I tell it to do so it does no...

Chromium "show in folder" and downloads in Lubuntu
Howdy All, So I recently installed Lubuntu on my netbook and I have it all working except for one hitch - when I download something in Chromium (such as a .deb or a .odt file) when I click on the finished download in the bar at the bottom of Chromium it does not open the file in gdebi/abiword as it ...

No function volume keys on LXDE Masonux (Ubuntu)
Hey There, So I've been distro hopping of the late on my netbook trying to find the quickest/best one for it and my current stop is Masonux (remix Ubuntu version) which uses LXDE as the desktop environment. Its working great thus far the only issue I am having is that my function volume up and down ...
