Re: wake up from suspend doesn't work well.
You could try the gnome-power-manager, it works in LXDE.

Re: xfce4-power-manager creating extra space after suspend
Drooly you are my hero, thank you so much! I wasn't able to get the ubuntu solutions working, as it kept returning a "can't connect to display" error in the logs. I was however able to get it working with an element from the script from the redhat page though, which basically just ran the ...

Well I could, but then I'd lose the battery charge icon in the system tray which I like to have. Thanks though.

Hey thanks drooly. Unfortunately, running the application from the console quickly returns back to a command prompt after the program loads, without any messages. Rats!

Re: How to make pcmanfm foremost window on launch?
If you're using openbox, you can edit the ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml file. Head down to the <applications> section, and make a listing for it as such: <application name="pcmanfm"> <focus>yes</focus> </application> Now it should always be focused when you open it up.

xfce4-power-manager creating extra space after suspend
Hello, I am using LXDE on a recent install of Debian 7.2 on a laptop. I have the xfce4-power-manager installed, and whenever I return from a suspend or hibernate, there is an extra space placed in the system tray (like a blank icon). Clicking this dead space with either mouse button reveals no menu....

Re: Where is the menu configuration file?
Thanks SS, I'm actually just on regular LXDE/Debian (no Lubuntu).
I've used Rex's location given to do what I wanted to do, so I think I'm happy now.

Re: Where is the menu configuration file?
edit: I think the file that you are looking for is /etc/xdg/menus/lxde-application.menu Thanks Rex, I looked at that but it appears to just be a bare skeleton of the categories, without the actual items themselves. I'm guessing that maybe it's "fleshed out" by reading the .desktop files i...

Where is the menu configuration file?
Hello, I am looking for the menu configuration file. The Wiki says it is in ~/.config/menus/, and is called "lxde-applications.menu", but I have nothing there. I have dug around, but can't find it anywhere.
Where might I find the menu configuration file? Thanks!
