My relatives use GPicView with PCManFM constantly and they never told me about any problem with viewing images. May it be that SAMBA is involved?

This issue was fixed in PCManFM version 1.2.2, are you using some older version?

You certainly can use only selected applications from PPA, there is no need to upgrade them all. Although I think upgrading all is safe, you'd get other LXDE applications fixed as well, you still can select to upgrade only chosen one, just don't do complete upgrade but select wanted packages in the ...

Thank you very much for bringing it to attention. I hope this issue is fixed recently in the libfm GIT repository. Try it when possible, please, and let us know if something is still not fixed.

Are you sure you have latest LibFM from GIT too? Last fixes on that issue was on September 1st. It shows my .m3u and .m3u8 files as playlists. Check that, please.

The default pager in LXPanel 0.7.0 is now the former wnckpager which got required improvements so all the problems are hopefully fixed, pager has correct appearance and supports drag and drop.

In latest version all icons got fixed so unified in positioning - all of them are centered on panel, not pushed to border without gaps anymore. Test it, please.

Startup notifications are implemented for LXPanel in version 0.7.0 which was released a day ago. Try it and enjoy.

I'm afraid those plugins just don't exist because not much of people are bothered to write one. In the latest version one new plugin is added - Weather applet. And also development was made much simpler so let hope it will bring some new developers...

You also can use PCManFM - it has Applications folder in which you can edit applications (change, add, or delete). When you delete some - don't be afraid, it is not actually deleted but becomes hidden, you can see it if you enable show hidden files in the folder (press Ctrl+H) and always can unhide ...
