xlappearance and obconf from preferences lxlauncher tab
People using Lxlauncher defaultly (eeepc and aspireone users, for example), may have difficulty to configurate lxde, since xlappearance and obconf are not defaultly available from there.

Since LXDE uses openbox decorations, i think it's very important obconf coming always with lxde as dependence, and easily to reach from LXDE - only now after some time spent on google search i found out obconf were used to LXDE decoration configuration

i'm using LXDE installed on Ubuntu 8.10, in a Macbook i386 - some keys are not working: . monitor brightness (more and less) . sound volume (mute, more and less) . eject as well, it's hard to have set default the Portuguese keyboard, specially with the right-meta key as third level shift (as AltGr, ...

Lxrandr said i have no monitor - what may happened to cause this? i'm using Ubuntu 8,04 on a MacBook, and i have no idea about what is happening - the hardware is working fine, btw.

Lxpanel - running-application buttons as optional
Lxpanel has by default those running-applications buttons - it's a feature too ms-windows i never use (very annoying for me), and i normally i used to always switch it off, but i don't know how to do it on Lxpanel

The optional hide-buttons from Gnome 2.X (and KDE 1.X) are very useful, and very missing on LXDE

It's awesome Lxterminal having tabs, but the white text over the black background hurts my eyes - at least some configurability is very welcome...
