starting LXDE {solved}

I installed LXDE thru the Debian repos. the only thing I have in my menu is 'openbox session' which does nothing when I select it. Is there something I can do in a terminal to kick-start LXDE? I want to try it out and if I like it, I'll remove XFCE.
I just installed a different login manager which allowed me to make the choice of which DE I want to use - that took care of the problem
