It's beter for u to don't install compiz.

And using this link for customizing your Lubuntu.

I use openSUSE 13.1 and not lubuntu, but I would think it would be more or less the same. I also use Compiz and it works beautifully provided your graphics adapter is compatible.

I am unsure if all of the following packages are 100% needed, but these are the ones I installed to get it to work:
compiz
compiz-manager
compizconfig-settings-manager
compiz-plugins-main
compiz-bcop
compiz-plugins-extra
compiz-emerald

openSUSE also installed the following packages:
compiz-gnome
libcompizconfig
python-compizconfig

Besides installing the above packages, you will also need to edit "~/.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf"
change the line "window_manager=openbox-lxde" to "window_manager=compiz"

The OP was using Wheezy which is a version of Debian. Ubuntu and of course Lubuntu are based on Debian. Don't know how the second post got past me.
Thank you thefrayedend for the information provided. By the way welcome to the LXDE forum.
