sound problem in lubuntu
I have problems with sound in lubuntu. When I plug the headset, sound comes from both, the laptop speakers and headphones.

Re: sound problem in lubuntu
Which version of Lubuntu do you have installed? Do you have Pulseaudio installed or alsamixer? Alsamixer is the default install and Pulseaudio has to be installed. If you didn't install it then you do not have it.
edit.
OK, I see from your other post that you have Lubuntu 13.10 installed. What about Pulseaudio?

You would have to installed it yourself. It is not part of the default install of Lubuntu. If you didn't install it, you don't have it. Besides, sometimes they don't play well together.
