When my GUI hangs, I want to be able to kill by session and restart.
I have seen a variety of suggestions about how to kill a process, etc.
I am HUNG. They mouse stops working or there is limited control of the mouse.
In the OLD, OLD days, you could CTRL-ALT-DEL and it would blow away X and allow a restart.
Any such key sequence now ?
Search on forum found a similar inquiry "Unable to Logout LXDE"

Is this an FAQ? Where to look for FAQs ?

kill - key sequence ?
Re: kill - key sequence ?
OK, I solved it myself.
/etc/xinitrc
setxkbmap -option terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp
No, I don't want to kill anything or "stop" or "restart". Just want to blow it away with a single combined set of keystrokes.
