Hell everyone!
At first I love lxde!
It's fast as hell!
I have a problem with PCManFM. Bookmarks that were added years ago are available within other applications to save to or load from.
Recently added bookmarks only appear in the main PCManFM, but not within other applications.
They are good for my workflow. It would be fantastic to have them working properly.
Thanks and Best Regards,
linux

Welcome to the LXDE forum. If you could give us an example or two perhaps we could help you accomplish what you want to do.

Re: Old and new bookmarks
When I use PCManFm itself, I can see all my bookmarks.
In gimp I can only see only bookmarks which I added several years ago. They still appear.
It didn't matter too much.
But right now, it would make things better for me.
I doesn't matter whether gimp or another application. It's just an example.

Re: Old and new bookmarks
To give you some answer it is required to know what version of libfm is in use, and what version of libgtk2 is in use. Behavior of libgtk2 was changed in version 2.24.12 and behavior of libfm is changed in 1.2.0, so older versions of those libraries are compatible, and newer versions are compatible too, but if one is older and other is newer then they are compatible only partially, blame GNOME for those incompatibilities.

Hello!
I'm using libfm3 in version 1.1.2.2-1 and libgtk2.0-0 in version 2.4.22-1

Re: Old and new bookmarks
I did a bug report on Sourgeforge and got a reply that it is work in progress.
It has been fixed now. It's in the Debian (jessie) repos days right now.
Very nice
