Right. Now we wait to see what happens.
Good news is that following my latest system update for my Sabayon 26/01/14, is that my LXDE reboot and shutdown buttons now work. The LXDE version I am using is
0.5.5-r3, and I am still using systemd as my init system.
I think this bug is now solved.
