are the gizmos on "add/remove panel items" the only ones available for lxpanel or are there more? such as an alternative menu? thanks!

As for the launcher i am looking for one that supports searching for applications. The "run" program comes close to it but i still have to click it. I like to be able to with keyboard only hit the windows logo key then start typing without clicking anything.

Which brings up another thing i forgot to add: how can i add widnows logo key optomization to the menu?

Did a little research in between laundry loads and vacuuming and this may be what you are looking for (creating shortcuts) http://wiki.lxde.org/en/LXShortCut I do not believe that the super key can be used without the addition of one other key. I could be wrong.
