Hey Guys – Since original post of 6th May 2023 some 49,518 of you have taken a look at this topic and nearly 1,000 have viewed the video hosted on imgur dot com - full video

I never anticipated such interest especially after having been banned from most forums for posting about just how fast and efficient LXDE is when used with distros such as AntiX and Loc-OS. What can I say…?
Thanks to all of you from this 74 year old pensioner
Most of you will have noticed the deathly silence from Porteus and parent Slackware;
unable to match or come close to such desktop efficiency.
For those who may wish to know the spec of my old 2013 Dell-Latitude laptop I used for the record: It is still in use now with Loc-OS 23 and stock LXDE installation using 189MiB RAM at idle or 214MiB RAM via htop.
