I’m frustrated by this as well. Not all translators have the technical/developer knowledge to make patches/deal with VCSs… Or even if we had, it’s too much trouble for just updating a translation!

The problem is very simple: as LXDE lacks a web-based tool for translators to update their translations, by the time PCManFM 1.1 was released nobody could update the Spanish translation.
