Re: Where are keyboard shortcuts stored?
Keyboard shortcuts are easily configurable with lxhotkeys , but where are they stored? Thank you. Hello Leonie. Personally, I never use lxhotkeys, I always edit $HOME/.config/openbox/rc.xml On an LXDE system this file could be in a slightly different location under a slightly different name though....

Re: Window sizes
An issue I see not just in LXDE but in other desktops is the window sizes must never be checked on small screens such as my Acer Aspire one I find many windows open to large and some such as the ones for configuring an application cannot be adjusted to enable clicking the buttons at the bottom. I l...

Re: taskbar pushes other items off the panel

Works as expected here:

That's lxpanel 0.10.1 on Archlinux proper.

Have you tried left- or right-clicking the icon, is there a Preferences dialog?

Re: surpressing "This text file seems to be an executable script"
Unfortunately my lxpanel freezes when I try to add launcher items via gui.
Can you post the relevant files from ~/.config/lxpanel so I can copy them over and do some testing?

Re: Programmatically maximize/raise toolbar
This is not a question for developers.
Can't you simply start the taskbar when the button is clicked?
Otherwise I don't think this is possible with lxpanel, but surely some other panel supports activation through external command.

Re: Selecting Text in LXTerminal with keyboard only (no mouse)
Within those tools you are using it is surely possible.
But for the terminal itself - tricky.
AFAIK, this is only possible if the terminal emulator supports it. Like urxvt.
Take a good look at these search results.

^ Archlinux isn't so keen on Synaptics anymore; try this instead: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Libinput
OTOH, I have Archlinux on a ~6 year old laptop and decided to use the synaptics driver instead.

Re: Adding Search to Menu
Hi, Is there a way to add a search box in the Menu? For the computer not internet. Run is very limited and is only for executables. Thanks! Not as such I believe (I don't use lxpanel myself) - just look through available plugins. It's a short list. Your file manager should have a search feature, an...
