I've got the same problem. He really wants to write to "/openbox/lxde-rc.xml" (in root / !). I then create a directory "/openbox" with rights that i can write to it and make a link: sudo mkdir /openbox sudo chgrp franklx /openbox sudo chmod g+w /openbox ln -s ~/.config/openbox/lx...
