Interesting, I tried it on mine (which I keep set to Places), and I can drag/drop it (cut/paste), but not if I set it do directory tree.

You could try the gnome-power-manager, it works in LXDE.

Hey thanks drooly. Unfortunately, running the application from the console quickly returns back to a command prompt after the program loads, without any messages. Rats!

If you're using openbox, you can edit the ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml file. Head down to the <applications> section, and make a listing for it as such: <application name="pcmanfm"> <focus>yes</focus> </application> Now it should always be focused when you open it up.

Hello, I am using LXDE on a recent install of Debian 7.2 on a laptop. I have the xfce4-power-manager installed, and whenever I return from a suspend or hibernate, there is an extra space placed in the system tray (like a blank icon). Clicking this dead space with either mouse button reveals no menu....

I've used Rex's location given to do what I wanted to do, so I think I'm happy now.

Hello, I am looking for the menu configuration file. The Wiki says it is in ~/.config/menus/, and is called "lxde-applications.menu", but I have nothing there. I have dug around, but can't find it anywhere.

Where might I find the menu configuration file? Thanks!
