This is probably obvious, but how do I switch to sudo in LXDE. Many of the dialogues are locked and I cannot see how to unlock them.

Connect to another machine by IP address
I am looking to use lxde on an Ubuntu server. I will only use it when necessary. On the 'normal' unbuntu desktop I can connect to a PC on my LAN by IP in the file manager to transfer files (VMs). I know I could use Samba etc but I do not need that. Is it possible? As it stands I create a file in roo...
