Remove Pcmanfm properly ?
Hi, I decided to use Thunar instead Pcmanfm, so I'd like to remove Pcmanfm completely. But I know Pcmanfm and LXDE are closely linked and I guess a simple sudo apt-get remove pcmanfm would also remove important files and make a mess of the system. So I'd like to know what are the steps to remove Pcm...

Re: The "Not Authorized" problem !
Yes I did, but solutions which are proposed don't work for me.
I'm on a i386 system with Ubuntu server 10.4 and LXDE.
May I missed something ?

Re: The "Not Authorized" problem !
I found another clue.
If i insert a cdrom (all applications are closed, no pcmanfm running of course), the popup "Not Authorized" message
appears just the same.
So, any idea where this pb could come from ?

Hi, Since I replaced Pcmanfm .0.5 version with the 0.9.7 version, I have an "Not Authorized" pop up message each time I want to open an USB key, CDrom or the root system files from Pcmanfm. I read few posts about it but I get no result. -Tried to edit org.freedesktop.udisk.policy (type &qu...

Put icons applications on the desktop ?
Hi, Since I replaced PcManFm with Thunar I can't put icons applications on the desktop anymore. I still have the "Add to the desktop" option in the right click menu but it doesn't work. I also have a Desktop folder with some icons/shortcut inside but it's impossible to put them on the desk...

Re: Command is not automatically executed ?
Thanks for your help, but I found a simplest way. I created a bash script called .wallpaper.sh #!/bin/bash eval `cat /home/login/.fehbg` then I call this script in the /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart file: @/home/login/.wallpaper.sh and it works! But I don't why it doesn't if I put: @eval `cat /ho...

Lost my lxde-rc.xml file. Help !
Hi,
I accidentaly delete my lxde-rc.xml file in ~.config/openbox.
Where could I download a typical lxde-rc.xml file or is there
anyway to generate it ?
Thanks
