You don't need to uninstall LXDE, just delete the lxpanel config files from your home directory.
Go to terminal and run:

rm -r ~/.config/lxpanel
The log out and log in again

Hit Alt+F2 or open the terminal and run:

pcmanfm --desktop-pref
Then go to the advanced tab and remove the tick
