Lxappearance segfaults on Endeavour OS

Also reports on the Arch forum. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=264768

If I restore a Timeshift from the 18th March it functions correctly, but I cannot isolate the package update causing it. Still working on it.

Any ideas?

:edit: Found it, it is the glib2 update.

Re: LXpanel has stopped loading.

Never used svn before:

From a terminal I issued:

Code: Select all

svn co https://lxde.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/lxde lxde
svn co https://pcmanfm.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pcmanfm pcmanfm
This has created two directories under my user, but what do I do next?

LXpanel has stopped loading.

Re: Trash

So what happens to a file once it is deleted? I would assume it would be "moved" to /home/your-user-name/.local/share/Trash, but it doesn't. Does it just get physically deleted? Surely this is easy to implement (move rather than delete), then perhaps implement a "special" version...

Can I be a bit dim?

I have downloaded, configure/make/make install then rebooted, but can't see any difference. What am I missing?

Re: Flash video not working

Which flash program do you have installed? I was on gnash and having the same types of problems as you. I removed gnash and installed the "proper" flash program from Adobe and now everything just works.
