You may have seen by now that when you launch the file manager you will see the trashcan small icon on the left side, that's where it can be found.

You can install Screenlets, don't use the Trash one though it will open up your browser window (needs work) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:screenlets/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install screenlets Then pick the ClearWeather one, and make sure on the lower left you FIRST check the box that says...

Thank you for your input, I am running Lubuntu 11.04 because regular Ubuntu just went south with Unity. Also I could never stand that Evolution was so tied into everything on the Ubuntu distro and in Lubuntu all things are separated as they should be. I will look also at the similar things that you ...

No sound in browsers
Videos play fine in both Chromium and Firefox, except that neither have sound. Sound works fine with mplayer, vlc, audacious, and xbmc. All of the players are set with the correct settings to get sound from the hdmi on the ati dedicated card, the correct mixer is set also. It will play fine through ...

To get a 12 hour clock in Lubuntu 10.10, Right click on the clock applet in the bar and go to Digital Clock Settings at the top. Left click on that. In the window that opens up, the top line will be "Clock Format" in that line type %I:%M %P That will get you a 12 hour clock. Make sure you ...

The LXTerminal works fine now after the upgrade to 10.10
And Lubuntu runs so much faster on that ancient old machine with the new 10.10 compared to 10.04.....

LXTerminal restarts desktop [SOLVED]
When I click on LXTerminal it restarts the desktop. I was going to use it to do the upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 I had to Ctrl+Alt+F1 to be able to type in the sudo do-release-upgrade It seems to be upgrading fine at the moment, was this a known bug I didn't find? Is this resolved in the 10.10 releas...
