You may have seen by now that when you launch the file manager you will see the trashcan small icon on the left side, that's where it can be found.

The LXTerminal works fine now after the upgrade to 10.10
And Lubuntu runs so much faster on that ancient old machine with the new 10.10 compared to 10.04.....

When I click on LXTerminal it restarts the desktop. I was going to use it to do the upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 I had to Ctrl+Alt+F1 to be able to type in the sudo do-release-upgrade It seems to be upgrading fine at the moment, was this a known bug I didn't find?
