Ok... Not a pcmanfm problem, I tried an old version and the problm is still there. Then I removed pekwm 0.1.12.x and installed pekwm 0.1.11.x from lucid repository ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/i386/pekwm/0.1.11-1 ) and everything got at the right place.

pcmanfm --desktop and pekwm
Hello! I'm using pcmanfm with great satisfaction since very long time... Today I've upgraded ubuntu to maverick and find the new 0.9.7 version. After a few researches I could manage to set my desktop and icons up, but... the desktop covers any application window! It looks like it sits on the top lay...
