Re: swap/re-map ctrl alt keys lxde/lubuntu (mac like behavio
I'd like to swap ctrl and alt keys on my laptop-PC (make it behave like a mac). I know I can map alt to ctrl & alt to win keys using lxkeymap layout options. I'm not that familiar with LXDE/Lubuntu. It would be great if the answer contains step by step instructions on how to do it. Any help is ...

Re: How To Lock Your Screen in Lubuntu
Anyway, I don't use Lock Screen often, but I like doing it using a short-cut, instead of an icon. What I did to lock my screen was make it a hot-key in the lubuntu-rc.xml file. Re: how to bind "Super key" to "LXDE menu"
Right!! Got it all sorted out now, thanks to the posts here from gymka ! :D I found this section in the defaults in ~/.config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml for turning on the Super Key (usually has the Windoze logo on it). I commented this out, so pressing the super key would not open the LXDE menu and all...

Re: how to bind "Super key" to "LXDE menu"
It seems a shame since there are so few of us that are active in this forum that some knuckle-head(s) have to SPAM the forums for no reason other than they can. Where are the moderators when you need them? Getting back to the subject, the super key is already binded (is that a word) to the start me...

3. On a serious note, why is Blizzard making everyone wait Diablo 3 Gold for Sale until Cali hits 12am for the game to go live? 3am?! Come on. I was excited about the release of this game but like my star craft 2 it wont get played because the game requires you to have a constant internet connectio...

Re: Bug - two similar model pendrive mounted one after anoth
when I use two similar model pendrives (Kingston DataTraveler) some problem occurs. 1. I plug pendrive no 1 (Kingston DataTraveler). It's mounted to /media/KINGSTON and I can see files and folders in main directory of pendrives No 1. 2. I unmount and unplug pendrive No 1. 3. I plug pendrive no 2 (K...

That's one I haven't tried before; how do you disable the touch pad, if needs be?Rex Bouwense wrote:Sounds like that you are using a laptop and you are touching or coming close to a very sensative touch pad. Just turn it off when you are typing.
