Re: How to change the menu language of LXPanel?[SOLVED - MAYBE?]

SOLVED - Maybe? The language .po file for lxpanel actually contained all the necessary strings. However, they were commented out in the template I took for the Italian translation (the German .po, I think). Thus, those strings didn't appear in poedit, where I was doing the translation. So I removed ...

Re: How to change the menu language of LXPanel?

Nobody here can help me on this?
It is actually pretty unfortunate that I translated almost everything to Italian,
but the main application menu does still appear in English...no ideas?
Could help switch someone to linux who has no knowledge of English at all...

thank you

The "start" menu in LXDE now correctly shows my translated "logout" and "Run" entries on the lower end (from LXSession). However, all the other entries (Game, Developme...

Re: I messed up with the translations...

Thanks brother, Yes, I found that section. But as far as I understand, these tools just allow me to align the original strings with the latest version. However, my concern is about some "meta-information" which seems to be in the .po files. There are entries still saying German there... I am pretty ...

I messed up with the translations...

I have been too stupid to follow the instructions properly... To my defense, I *only* went through -> Translate *.po files with Poedit <- without going through -> How to translate LXDE components <- So after not finding POT files in most of the directories, I thought I would be incredibly ingenious....
