I have the slight problem of volume control icon being totally black, which does not work well on a black background. it's still fully working (and can open pulseaudio volumes by right-click and selecting "volume settings", but only when I remember it can do that) http://pix.toile-libre.or...

I had the same problem and used the mkdir command instead.
at least there the "open terminal here" features in the tools menu and F4 key, but I agree on the total lack of file operations in the file menu.
