Desktop icons and wallpaper
I like to keep a clean desktop with no icons, but I also like to change my wallpaper frequently. There doesn't seem to be a way to have it both ways on the PCMan desktop: either I can have icons and the ability to change my wallpaper, or no icons and stuck with the default. I use Debian Lenny, either LXDE or a Gnome/Openbox combo, depending on my mood. This is on an IBM Thinkpad T42, with 512MB of RAM, and an 80GB hard drive. Works great. I'll be maxing out my RAM to 2GB soon, and getting a bigger hard drive.
