No Transparent Background in Fedora 18

I have been using lxpanel on several versions of Fedora, on Debian and on FreeBSD. Until now I have always been able to set the background transparency (Panel Settings -> Appearance -> Solid Colour with opacity). But having installed Fedora 18 I cannot get the transparency effect. Incidentally, tran...

Configuring openbox per-application

Hi, Fedora 15 (x86_64) with LXDE and openbox. I'm trying to control the behaviour of TzClock and Sylpheed in ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml. In the <applications> section of the file I have: <application name="TzClock"> <skip_pager>yes</skip_pager> <skip_taskbar>yes</skip_taskbar> </applica...

I am happy to use Leafpad most of the time, but need gedit on occasion. Is the...

Font viewer for LXDE?

Hi,

I am using LXDE on Fedora 15 64 bit beta.
Is there a font viewer application available, along the lines of gnome-specimen? I can't use gnome-specimen itself, as it produces the following error:

Error: Importing gnome module failed (No module named gnome).

Thanks,
Palooka
