Re: Shutdown on laptop lid closure

I need to read the question better. Open the LXTerminal and enter

Code: Select all

sudo leafpad /etc/systemd/logind.conf

Find out the line #HandleLidSwitch=suspend, remove the # and change it to:
HandleLidSwitch=poweroff
Save the file and restart the service or just restart your laptop to apply changes.

Re: Shutdown on laptop lid closure

Welcome to the LXDE forums. I am not sure if a shut down can be configured for a laptop lid closure but you can configure the computer to shut down after inactivity using the xfce power manager which is the default program installed. Check the display tab under Power Manager Settings.

Re: RT5572 driver in LXDE

Welcome to the LXDE forums. In the first place the support for Ubuntu 12.04 ended months ago and if you are using Lubuntu 12.04, it ended years ago. If you want to continue using the computer with some distro that uses LXDE on it you need to do a fresh install. The current LTS version of Lubuntu is ...

Re: LXDE panel move right-hand Info-apps to right

Welcome to the LXDE forums. What you want to accomplish can easily be done by moving the panel applets either up or down in panel preferences. Just right click any open space on the LXPanel and choose Panel Settings and then open the Panel Applets Tab.

Re: Drag&Drop Tabs

Welcome to the LXDE forums. The capability that you are talking about already exists in the LXTerminal. Just drag and drop the tabs to change the order. If you want to open one of the tabs in a new window merely select detach terminal from the drop down menu under tabs FYI feature requests for PCMan...

Welcome to the lxde forum. As far as I know there is no upper panel in Lubuntu. Did you create it? If you...

Re: Feature request

Welcome to the LXDE forums. Developers rarely read these forums and seldom even check in. If you have a future request for LXDE see the second posting at https://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=575. Since you are asking about LXQT, there is an IRC channel #lxde on freenode.net which, unlike i...

Welcome. I believe that the system icons are stored in /usr/share/icons and /usr/share/pixmaps.
