Re: Recent Documents List

I would not let a lack of a response hold back a future request. I would go ahead and submit it. However, you are aware that it would take time so I would simultaneously write my own code to accomplish what I wanted PCMan to do. You could also share it with the readers of this forum if you would like.

Re: Recent Documents List

Welcome to the LXDE forums. You are correct in saying that the proper place to raise a future request is with the developers and they seldom if ever visit this forum. If you had checked the announcement you would have found this: New web sites for PCMan File Manager for bugs: http://sourceforge.net/...

Re: If LXDE is deprecated, can it still be used safely?

For the time being lxde and lxqt are both being developed. I believe that Lubuntu is the only major distro that has chosen to replace its DE. There may be others. There are well over 40 other distros that use lxde. LXDE is still in the Ubuntu repositories and is still being updated. Both will exist ...

Re: Adding copy path to lxqt version

Did you file a future request at https://github.com/lxqt/pcmanfm-qt/issues/new ? The place to ask for a lxqt work around is their forum. However there may be someone here that can provide you with a possible solution.

Re: desktop show lots of popups from apparmor

I believe that these popups (as you call them) are AppArmor notifications. They are not unique to LXDE. I saw your question in the Ubuntu forums which is probably the correct place for it. Since you didn't receive a satisfactory response there I would bump the thread to move it to the top of the list.

Re: Datumsformat in PCManFM

What drooly was referring to was the Lxpanel at the bottom of your screen. Merely right click on the time there and select "digital clock settings". Next to clock settings place your desired setting. See https://www.foragoodstrftime.com/ to build your date time formatting. Was Drogy meinte...

That is what we do electrosteam. Hopefully you can contribute here now. I do not understand why the problem slipped through because many others have registered successfully. In any event welcome to the LXDE forums.

It will still be very light but the concept is to "modernize" it I believe. And yes it will not be as light as LXDE.

Re: is LXDE dead?

Welcome to the LXDE forums. Of course LXDE is not dead. Lubuntu, a flavor of Ubuntu, appears to be replacing LXDE with LXQT (a merge of LXDE-Qt, an initial Qt flavour of LXDE, and Razor-qt, a project aiming to develop a Qt based desktop environment with similar objectives as the current LXQt). This ...
