Re: Adding pcmanfm actions for specific file types?

Hm, I don't think we're using the same version of PCManFM because I don't have half the menu options you have. I'm on Lubuntu with PCManFM version 0.9.9...anyway, looks like exactly what I'm looking for. Guess I'll just wait for the upgrade. :| Thanks anyway!

Adding pcmanfm actions for specific file types?

Hi, Is there an easy way to add context-specific menu items to pcmanfm for particular file types? I can add applications using the right-click functionality, but I'd like to add actions. For example, prior to migrating to Lxde I used nautilus-actions and scripts to manipulate pdf, ppms and jpgs to c...

Re: Issues with lxdm in Lubuntu

I should note that this is a machine with 1 GB of swap and 2 GB of RAM, so I don't think it's an issue of lack of resources. :)

Re: Issues with lxdm in Lubuntu

Thanks!!! The switch user button is present and works as designed on the stock Lxde using Debian 6.0.3 that I tested out before installing Lubuntu, so I think this is a problem with the Lubuntu version of lxdm. Another interesting thing is that if I start a virtual machine (using Virtualbox), if I l...

Issues with lxdm in Lubuntu

Hi, I am a recent Lubuntu convert and really like it. A couple of issues that I believe are lxdm related I wanted to point out that don't appear to be working as designed: Using xscreensaver to lock the screen works, but when you hit the 'new login' button on the xscreensaver prompt it complains abo...

Re: How To Lock Your Screen in Lubuntu

FIrst of all thanks for all your work on Lubuntu. (I'm a recent convert, Unity pushed me over the edge.) I know this how-to is written for 11.04 but I tried it in 11.10. The lock function works, but when you hit the 'new login' button on the xscreensaver prompt it complains about missing gdmflexiser...
