[SOLVED] "Maximized" windows are bigger than they should be.

Hello guys:

When i maximize a window (such as Chromium or Thunar) the bottom-most part of it gets hidden behind the bottom task-bar (lxpanel).

How can i fix this?

Thanks in advance.

PS: i`m running lubuntu, by the way.

Guys, please help me. I have the same problem, i need to know how to change the color depth settings from 32 to 16 bit. By the way, i found this thread http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1492 and tried its solution, but i didn't work for me. Also, i searched and there is no xorg.conf file...

I'm not sure what you want. Ctrl + N should open a new window when you have PCManFM open and Ctrl + Q should close the window. Lubuntu 11.10 on a Pentium III with 500Mb Ram.... so fast... i feel like i have 1Gb Ram!!
