I have upgraded to latest version of lubuntu 12.04, and the icons in taskbar are smaller and aligned. Also I was able to change the font size of the lxpanel, thus clock font size was changed, I changed it to smaller font so the hour fits on lxpanel.

It seems the problem solved by itself

Thanks for reply, I am trying to align the icons on same line, on the lxpanel. As you can see on the screenshot I have surrounded regions and the margins. Some have no left margin, some plugins have >0px margin. I was wondering if there is a solution to set the icons margin same for all. http://foru...
