Broken Spanish translation
Hi. I use arch linux 64 bits with lxde in Spanish. pcmanfm 1.0 were completely translated to Spanish, but I've just updated to pcmanfm 1.1 and now lots of items are in English: New tab, create new, close window, rename, move to, copy to, preferences, ... and lots of items remains in Spanish: Nueva v...

Re: "extract here" button don't work anymore
I have the same problem, also with archlinux, pcmanfm and file-roller. I have 2 options in the pcmanfm menu opened with right mouse button, 'extract here' doesn't work (it says something about <<null>> folder) but 'extract to' seems to work fine for me.

Re: open new pcmanfm instance in new desktop?
Three points, first, the "real" solution is empty for recent versions of pcmanfm, because -n is no longer an option if it ever was. See the accompanying photo. Second, newer versions of pcmanfm automatically open in new windows. Third, there is no filter in this forum on bonafide solution...

Re: Open pcmanfm in a new window
The recent pcmanfm 1.1 includes a new '-n' option, so 'pcmanfm -n menu://applications' or 'pcmanfm -n trash:///' was just what I was looking for. Big thanks to the pcmanfm dev!!!

Re: View own images thumbnails in pcmanfm
Thanks for your answer, Rex. I'm afraid it's not a maximum size matter. I think that pcmanfm/libfm can't generate thumbnails of some classes of files, and there's nothing I can do unless I generate them with nautilus/totem.

Re: Open pcmanfm in a new window
OFFTOPIC thanks for giving me more reasons for not getting a tablet. I confess I didn't like tablets (moreover, I didn't like laptops, I always used desktop PC's). However this winter I suffer a serious problem in my neck ('slipped disc' in English?) which makes me lie in the bed for long time. I b...

Re: Open pcmanfm in a new window
Wow. I posted a problem and you answer 4 different solutions and add your own conf files. You're incredible, mate. Thanks a lot As there's an easy 2-clicks solution (1 click to open pcmanfm, a second click in the left panel to open applications or trash) I'm only interested in 1-click solutions. Unf...

Re: Open pcmanfm in a new window
Hi seppalta. Thank you for your answer, I'll try to clarify my question. Forget about the launcher, it's not important (*) 1- In my computer I open a terminal and type 'pcmanfm' (a new window open). Open another terminal and type 'pcmanfm' (a new window open). And so on. It doesn't matter if there's...

[SOLVED]Open pcmanfm in a new window
Hi. I use Arch linux, LXDE, pcmanfm and openbox. If I had a pcmanfm window open and I run another ' pcmanfm ' instance then a new window opens. It's fine for me. However if I run the second item with some addition, for example ' pcmanfm menu://applications " or ' pcmanfm trash:/// ' then the ap...

Re: Geometry of lxterminal in pcmanfm
Thank you for you detailed answer, Hugh. Unfortunately I don't have update-alternatives in Arch, I think it's only in debian-based distros (debian, ubuntu, mint,...). However I've solved my problem with a different approach, I've installed gnome-terminal (which includes personalized geometries in th...
