Re: New computer
I'm too cheap. I dug an old Dell Dimension 9150 outta the closet & replaced the 300 Gig SATA with a 1 Terrabyte Sata Hd, and filled all 4 ram slots with 1 gigabyte memory cards, seeing as 4 Gigs Ram is all it'll handle even thought the Pentium D CPU is 64 bits. Not too shabby for an old 2006 box...

Re: File Manager icon view single click obscures folder name
I don't seem to get this bug in LXDE, no matter which theme (light or Dark) I use. Although I have replaced Openbox with Xubuntu's xfwm4 window manager, so perhaps that's why.

Re: Weird Little bug...
Never-mind.... I keep forgetting the announcements section, & discovered I hadn't read the LxPanel post.   For some reason, I had used ADBlock Plus to test the "Select An Element to Hide" option & had hidden the Announcements section. Then forgot to un-hide it. S...

Weird Little bug...
For some strange reason, the LXDE Components forum will every once in awhile show the red new messages icon on the main forum page, but when I go there, no new posts. I even checked every page to see if I missed one but nothing is marked red, And marking the LXDE Components page as being read doesn'...

I'm assuming that they aren't in /usr/share/lxde/wallpapers? If not, and assuming I don't get in TOO much trouble, are these them?

Re: Vote: Future of PCManFM (Very important!!)
I like PCmanFM, I also like Thunar. I just wish PCmanFM would remember where you are when you enter a folder & exit it like Thunar. For Ex: I have a lot of themes, and I'll be scrolling down in the .theme folder and be in the M section. I open a folder say MetalLex and look around. When I go bac...

Re: "extract here" button don't work anymore
I have the same problem, also with archlinux, pcmanfm and file-roller. I have 2 options in the pcmanfm menu opened with right mouse button, 'extract here' doesn't work (it says something about <<null>> folder) but 'extract to' seems to work fine for me. Just to be different, but the same I get the ...

Re: Lubuntu 12.10 and xfce4-notifyd
No more colored text in any future posts for me. It is hard enough to write a tutorial that people can follow without having to worry about an add-on stripping out the text. I use Firefox with AdBlock+ myself. We both learned something SantaFe88. Peace. Aw, just because one person had a goof with A...
