New mailing list "lxde-i18n" for LXDE translators
In the past we used <translation@mailinglist.lxde.org> to coordinate translation work for LXDE. This mailing list server, however, suffers from unexpected downtime sometimes recently and has some maintaince issues. To eliminate the maintaince load and provide more stable service, we’re moving to a n...

Re: Trash bin?
Trash can be "completely turned off" from the preference dialog. Hope you noticed that.
Personally I hate trash very much. So there will always be options to delete files directly.
Regards.

Re: What Volume Management Parts Broken Due To Incompatibility?
What volume management parts were broken in pcmanfm due to incompatibility with hal? Are we talking about the 0.5x version or 0.9x? I'm using 0.5.2 on Slackware 13.1 right now and I can't see anything broken with this file manager, or any incompatibility with hal. THANKS http://forum.lxde.org/viewt...

Re: Please Continue Support Of pcmanfm-legacy
PCMan can you please, in your spare time continue the support of pcmanfm-legacy? Thank you for your consideration, I hope you'll continue with this! :) Clearly the answer is no. I worked for more than 15 hours everyday and six days per week without holidays. Sometimes I need to work for 24 hours a ...

Re: pcmanfm2 not display icon correctly ?
Sorry for not replying these questions. I'm busy doing my daily job as a medical doctor in the hospital. I worked overtime everyday last week and I was on duty on the weekend (that's > 100 hours per week). If you have a bug to report, please utilize the bug tracker, which is listed at the top of thi...

Re: Next Generation PCManFM 0.9 Alpha is released!
Will it be possible to set per-filesystem default mount options for volumes that don't have fstab entries in the new PCManFM? i.e. When I mount NTFS volumes (say, a USB drive, so no fstab entry) I want to use particular dmask, fmask and gid options; will I (either through PCManFM or GVFS options(?)...

Re: PCManFM Mod - User-Definable Commands And More
Personally I think ignoring auto-mount errors would be better, unless it is something the user explicitly initiates. But you're right that turning off the volume management options seems to stop the errors. This is now looking pretty good so I'd like to begin coding some user-definable commands int...

Re: Questions about disabled Gnome programs in LXDE
It's not LXDE's problem. It's Gnome that disable their apps in other desktop environments.
Their desktop entry files contain informations that tell other DE 'this program should only be used in gnome'.
So, send bug reprots to them.

Re: PCManFM Mod - User-Definable Commands And More
As I previously said, this is caused by auto-mount. Turn it off in preference dialog can inhibit this. But I agree this should work better. Also, I'm still thinking about how to rework error handling of pcmanfm2/libfm. This area is quite complicated and it's currently a little bit problematic. After...
