Hibernation doesn't work.
Hibernation doesn't work on my ThinkPad R60 with Mandriva 2009.0 (GNOME plus LXDE). When I restart after pressing "Hibernate", it boots up.

Join a larger forum?
It would be much easier to engage with the Linux community by making this a subforum in a larger forum - I don't have a strong preference, but I know Linuxquestions is large and active. This would make it easier to get help from people there, and easier for people there to learn about LXDE. Having a...

Re: Trash
You can also create a trashcan which will work with command line, and should work with PCManFM (has anyone confirmed this?) This also describes how to create a desktop trash icon.

(It worked for a while when I brought it close to the modem, but the next day even that didn't work.) So I rebooted and tried Gnome, and it worked. The Gnome window manager didn'...

LXDE broke Metacity (GNOME's default window manager)
After using LXDE for a couple of days, I wanted to test some things, and rebooted into Gnome. (I'm using Mandriva 2009.0) However, in Gnome, once I started SwiftFox (a lighter & faster version of Firefox), the address bar was at the top of the screen, and I couldn't access the top panel. There a...
