Re: help resizing LXterminal
Although I do not use your OS, I can recognize that what you are describing is not normal behavior for the LXterminal. I am using the 0.1.11 version of LXterminal in Lubuntu and have had no such problem. Have you tried uninstalling (to include the configuration files) and then re-installing the LXte...

Re: How long to charge laptop battery?
Most batteries will come to a full charge within three or four hours. I have found that if you use your laptop with the battery in and connected to the AC adapter your battery will not last as long. I believe that is because the battery develops a memory and will no longer hold a charge. If you plug...

Re: Some usefull patch
While your proposed patches sound interesting, I am not sure that the developers read the forums.

Re: Administrator/Moderator Assistance
I am aware of amjjawad's situation. I was not aware that he was the only mod. I guess I just needed to blow off some frustration.

Re: Administrator/Moderator Assistance
Well, we cannot do it ourselves. When I report a post and ask to be notified nothing happens. It is frustrating, but I guess without their assistance (Admin or Mod) we will just have to plug away.

Administrator/Moderator Assistance
This is probably the wrong place to post this but here goes. The amount of spam that has been posted on these forums has increased to a point that the new posts are out numbered by the spam. Perhaps no one else cares but I have been reporting the posts with no obvious results. I am not sure who is r...

Re: how to bind "Super key" to "LXDE menu"
It seems a shame since there are so few of us that are active in this forum that some knuckle-head(s) have to SPAM the forums for no reason other than they can. Where are the moderators when you need them? Getting back to the subject, the super key is already binded (is that a word) to the start men...

Re: How to move windows with mouse?
Now you got me. I was not aware that you could not use the ALT key to move a window. Since I do not have my computer with Lubuntu 12.04 on it, I cannot check that. When I get back to Georgia I will check that. That doesn't make sense unless it is a bug and I didn't find one submitted.

Re: mouse problem while typing
I have not tried it because I always move the curser to the margin when I am typing but here is a site that purports to show you How To.... https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticsTouchpad You have to read the whole article because Lubuntu doesn't have a graphic option for disabling the touchpad....

Re: mouse problem while typing
Sounds like that you are using a laptop and you are touching or coming close to a very sensative touch pad. Just turn it off when you are typing.
