Yes. Everything is up to date. I have the same problem with a Netbook and a Laptop. I even tried re-installing the lxinput package bit it didn't help.I've got Lubuntu 11.10 and mine works just fine. I just tested it. Have you installed all of the updates?

LXINPUT Keyboard and Mouse issues
Lubuntu 11.10 clean install. lxinput 0.3.1-1 (Keyboard and Mouse) Mouse settings for acceleration and sensitivity revert to default after changing. Adjust and save ("OK") and the GUI closes. Open again and your changes were not saved. I did a search here for "lxinput" and found a...

Re: Lubuntu 11.10 is here so what do you think?
You have to install package apt-xapian-index.......... Thanks for being constructive, mick823. Now, I'm ready for that damn drop-down box if it occurs in a future install. I would mention that it takes a few minutes for the index to compile the search results. The first time you open synaptic after...

Re: Lubuntu 11.10 is here so what do you think?
"What drop-down box??? I type something in the Quick Filter and BOOM! Exact results as I type. I think you are just trying to flame Lubuntu." The guy is correct. A new install of Lubuntu 11.10 does not have the quick filter installed by default. You have to install package apt-xapian-inde...

Can't Login to Lubuntu Netbook Session? Heres How!
The problem is that pcmanfm can't handle a space in the file name. Navigate to the /usr/share/xsessions/ folder and open as root (Tools > Open Current Folder as Root). Right click on the Lubuntu Netbook file and select leafpad to modify the file. Change the Name=Lubuntu Netbook line to Name=Lubuntu-...

Re: How to add current username to login requester?
You can bypass the login and go right to the desktop in LUBUNTU by modifying the /etc/lxdm/default.conf file. Using pcmanfm navigate to the the /etc/lxdm/ folder and open as root. (TOOLS > Open Current Folder as Root). Right click on the default.conf file and select Leafpad. Modify the line that say...

Re: Lubuntu 11.10 notifications
You can use the xfce4-notifyd notification instead of the notification-daemon. It has a GUI to choose location (upper right, lower right, upper left or lower left), and display time in seconds. It also has a transparency setting but it doesn't work with LXDE out of the box. The GUI application .desk...

Re: No passwd
since in live-cd I believe the entry is also Exec=synaptic-pkexec..........I wanted also to prevent any graphical passwd dialog, like for gparted, or for user management... so I must change all these entries?. I believe when you are using the live CD you are operating as root which would explain wh...

LXDE Great for Netbooks
I bought a Gateway LT-20 Netbook, Atom 1.6 CPU, 1 GB RAM and 250 GB HD with Windows 7 Starter several years ago. The thing was so slow that it reminded me of the old i386 with 32 MB of RAM. A real dog is the only way I could describe it. An upgrade to 2 MB RAM improved the performance slightly but i...
