Re: LXDE and KDE 3.5-applications
No clue about kmail or knode, but I still run k3b, smplayer ,k9copy, and Bibletime. For rss/atom feeds I just use Google reader, and either web mail or Zimbra mail client, never did like the way kmail did things.

Status of lxtask, lxshortcut in Debian
Just curious on what the hold up is getting these packages into Debian repo. The way it stands the "lxde" metapackage is not installable without them. The current work around of using Andrew's repo works for i386 but not for 64bit. Any idea when these packages will make it into the "o...

Re: lxinput errors Debian sid
Seems the debian package that is in incoming.debian.org has issues. I compiled it then used checkinstall to build the .deb and it works just fine. It does give an error when opened in a terminal but only at exit: $ lxinput (lxinput:14410): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_x11_atom_to_xatom_for_display: assertio...

lxinput errors Debian sid {Solved}
Running Debian Sid, grabbed lxinput from incoming.debian.org. It totally fails to start from the menu and from lxterminal it throws a bunch gtk errors. No other issues. $ lxinput (lxinput:20610): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_dialog_set_alternative_button_order: assertion `GTK_IS_DIALOG (dialog)' failed (lxi...

Re: How add Firefox, or item, to panel, move it, icon discussion
I run Debian and just recently decided to use Firefox rather than Icwweasel. So I created a Firefox.desktop , then opened pcmanfm as root and copied the Firefox.dekstop to /usr/share/applications , right clicked the panel for Applications Launch Bar Settings > Add> choose Firefox. http://img254.imag...
