Re: How to quit apps with a single key instead of CTRL-q?
Not a problem. Remember Google is your friend and Googlubuntu is your best buddy. There is a great deal of information out there and much of it can be discovered with a simple search. I'll keep looking but it doesn't look good. However, keep the thread open. Someone with more knowledge than I have m...

I am not aware of a single keyboard stroke that will close an application, but since the question has been asked I did a search and found this site: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KeyboardShortcuts which led me to two more sites: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_keyboard_shortcuts http://www...

Try it. Download the ISO, check the md5sum, and burn it to a CD and try it. That is the best way to find out. Choose the try it option and check it out on your hardware. You should do that before you install anyway. That way you will know if you are going to have any major problems.

Re: How to edit menu
Yes. That is one way to edit your menu (delete the program). Works almost everytime. I'm sorry I must have misunderstood what you wanted to do. Glad it worked out for you.

Re: Increase width of window scrollbar
After I read your post, I did some experiments. I cannot find anywhere that you can change the width of the scroll bar. However, I am still at a loss why you would want to do that. You can always use the up & down arrows to scroll up or down. If you are using a mouse with a center wheel you can ...
