Re: LxPanel Volume Control, PCM not Master...
Some say there is no way to change it in lxpanel without chnging the code and recompilation. i'd agree with that. Everyone suggest installing volwheel. But it seems to be dead project with last update in 2010. And I wasn't able to find deb package. Arch users have it in AUR though. I give up. Haven...

Re: UE! Accidentally drug desktop folder . . .
See if this information can help you. http://lxlinux.com/#11 wow, very confusing diagram. @olcountrytek: have you actually tried to just move the whole Desktop folder back into the home folder (that is /home/<yourusername>)? should be enough really. and if that's not enough, log out and back in.

Re: Executable Name for CD/DVD Creator?
Lxde version I still don't know how to get. so you're not actually using lxde? it is confusing and counterproductive to ask for help on this forum, with things that have nothing to do with it. but, fyi, you can get it here: http://en.opensuse.org/LXDE about your problem: - open your software instal...

Re: Running shell scripts from pcmanfm
that's a tricky one.
some file managers have this option (execute by default) - but i don't think pcmanfm has it.
if it's a script you use often, you can create a .desktop file pointing to the script. this will execute by default iirc.
call back if you need help with that.

Re: Executable Name for CD/DVD Creator?
it seems to me you answered that question already? "xfburn" i don't know about SUSE, but here on lubuntu 13.04 it is xfburn. but i don't think xfburn can burn dvd's , only cd's . if that doesn't answer your question, the answer most probably lies with suse, not lxde. xfburn isn't lxde eith...

lxpanel tasklist icon offset/size
hello, searching for the perfect minimalistic panel... i really like lxpanel, if it wasn't for 1 tiny annoyance: the icons of the tasklist are always a few pixels below the launcher and menu icons. http://ompldr.org/vaTR1Ng and this is the configuration: http://ompldr.org/vaTR1OA this is consistent ...

Re: LXAppearance makes Icon Theme Preview too Small!
partial solution: open <installprefix>/share/lxappearance/ui/lxappearance.ui with text editor, edit property "stock-size" (or stock_size) to a higher value. (it's just under GtkCellRendererPixbuf, line 1124 in mine) it was 6, everything higher than 6 gives me slightly bigger icons (from 16...

Re: LXAppearance makes Icon Theme Preview too Small!
Are you concerned about the icon preview size? When you choose which theme you want are the icons the way you want them? yes they are. it's only about lxappearance. edit: or to be more precise: within lxappearance, the icon theme preview is always too small (16px?), whether i "apply" or n...

[HalfSolved] LXAppearance makes Icon Theme Preview too Small
Hello everybody! LXDE is getting better and better! right now i'm using AVLinux which uses a mix of lxde session, lxpanel, nautilus... i managed to install lxappearance 0.5.2 on this debian stable based install. it was working nicely for months but yesterday the icon preview went way too small and i...
