Which Apps Work Best in LXDE?
This is one of those "Total Noob" questions: It seems that certain desktops have their "favorite" apps - apps that are well integrated into the desktop environment. Like KDE uses the Konquerer web browser and Dolphin or PCman file manager while Gnome favors Epiphany and Synaptic....

Forced Shutdown
Hi,
When I click the Logout button and select Shutdown, nothing happens. I have to force shutdown with the power switch. I dunno if it's an LXDE problem or something else is going on in Ubuntu 8.10 (updated - not reinstalled to 9.04). Just thought I'd ask here first.

Hi, I'm a newbie LXDE fanboy. I use LXDE in Crunchbang Linux (the first and best true "Ubuntu Lite" distro ever) and I love it! Nice 'n' speedy. But to show LXDE off to friends, I need my old wallpaper back - y'know, those way-cool blue, green, and red ones that I started with. I can't fin...

LXDE works in Crunchbang , which is a distro based on Ubuntu (the best-ever true "Ubuntu Lite" to date), but it's buggy. I must force shutdown using the terminal command, sound defaults to mute, a few little bugs like that. I wish Crunchbang would play nicely with LXDE, but perhaps later r...
