Re: Install and share Canon PIXMA

Hi,

This is all Ubuntu related, LXDE has nothing to do with the printer. You might get more help in the Ubuntu forums directly.

Re: pcmanfm partitions on side panel not showing up

Hi, I did this by editing this config file: "/home/maces/.config/pcmanfm/lxde/pcmanfm.conf". [volume] mount_on_startup=1 mount_removable=1 autorun=1 [ui] always_show_tabs=0 hide_close_btn=0 win_width=800 win_height=600 splitter_pos=152 view_mode=0 show_hidden=0 sort_type=0 sort_by=0 maces

Re: New & Need Help Getting Started

It's a Desktop Environment, that's a suit of applications like a panel, filemamanger, session manager, ect.. Please tell us the name of your Distribution, I guess (L)Ubuntu....

Re: Change ALT + Click = move windows

Hi, in order to change this, have a look at the openbox config file. LXDE uses it's own, depending on your setup it's "/usr/share/lxde/openbox/rc.xml" (system wide) or "/home/maces/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml" (for your user). Simply search for your key bindings and change them. ...

Re: How does one use LXPanel?

This means, that there's already an instance of LXPanel running. What happens if you kill this instance and start a new one?

btw: could you provide the version of LXPanel (lxpanel -v) or did you tried the latest git-sources?

Re: Add trash to desktop

Hi, there's no checkbox for that, afaik. But you could use *.desktop files. Copy and paste the code into a file: [Desktop Entry] Type=Application Icon=system-file-manager Name=Home Folder GenericName=Home Folder Comment=open home folder in PCManFM Categories=FileManager;Utility;Core;GTK; Exec=pcmanf...
