Hi, LXDE looks like a great OS, but Im having some trouble finding answers to some questions. first of all, LXDE is not an OS! It's a Desktop Environment, that's a suit of applications like a panel, filemamanger, session manager, ect.. Please tell us the name of your Distribution, I guess (L)Ubuntu....

you can use LXTask, "killall lxpanel" or "Htop".

This means, that there's already an instance of LXPanel running. What happens if you kill this instance and start a new one?

btw: could you provide the version of LXPanel (lxpanel -v) or did you tried the latest git-sources?

Hi, there's no checkbox for that, afaik. But you could use *.desktop files.
