Re: FeatherPad and spell check

Featherpad is not an LXDE application.

And yes, it does, and it uses hunspell.

Re: "Open With" Context Menu - Bash Commands Topic is solved

So the only problem is that you can get it to work on folders, but not on files? Have you clicked on the links I gave you, because it is explained there. You need a different mimetype. MimeTypes=all/allfiles; should do for all actual files (but not symlinks). MimeTypes=all/all; is for everything , f...

Re: "Open With" Context Menu - Bash Commands Topic is solved

Where were you putting the .desktop file? I have one in ~/.local/share/file-manager/actions/openfolderasroot.desktop and it works as desired. It contains: [Desktop Entry] Type=Action Name=Open as Root Icon=utilities-terminal_su Profiles=on_folder; [X-Action-Profile on_folder] Name=Open as Root MimeT...

Re: Task Bar pushing all other items off of panel after update

I'm not familiar with multimonitor solutions. Some random ideas: Try setting Monitor: All in the Geometry tab What is taking care of your desktop background/icons? Is it set to span both monitors? Full report please. Also play with lxpanel's Advanced tab settings Play with the settings for the Panel...

Re: NetSpeed plugin - applet for lxpanel

You could search if a command output plugin exists, i.e. it runs some shell command and displays its output.
That would be simpler than writing one specifically for net speed.

Re: Windows and desktop icons dissappear

Since the desktop icons are also provided py pcmanfm, I have to assume that pcmanfm crashes. Which distro (also version) and desktop environment (LXDE presumably)? Which version of pcmanfm? Is this the only problem you experience? Is your system up-to-date? After the crash try to execute the followi...

Re: Task Bar pushing all other items off of panel after update

No, the task bar settings seem to be in order.
I have to assume that the rest of the panel stretches over to the second monitor, and is currently covered by a terminal.
Please also show us the Geometry tab of Pamel Preferences.

Re: lxhotkey + Midnight Commander => can not get this to work

I never use lxhotkey because I always edit rc.xml directly but I'm pretty sure all you need to supply is a working command. If it needs to be executed in a terminal (like mc), you either need a command that launches the terminal, and then mc in it, or maybe lxhotkey has a checkbox for "run in t...

Re: New Xorg gestures Topic is solved

Again, LXDE is a desktop environment. If it runs on top of Xorg then yes, Xorg supports xf86-* drivers.
It seems you are asking if there's a gui utility do modify libinput settings?
There's lxinput, but it's possible it does not support what you want.
There's xinput-gui, maybe it'll do better.

Re: New NTFS drivers Topic is solved

Sorry but this has nothing to do with LXDE. You should ask your distro's forum.
