TIA,
Christoph

Re: PCManFM 0.9.5 Not Authorized Popup For USB
What does return? Is there a session for your user? If not, try running instead of just running in /usr/share/xsessions/LXDE.desktop
Code: Select all
ck-list-sessions
Code: Select all
ck-launch-session startlxde
Code: Select all
startlxde

Re: No Desktop Management With PCManFM2
It is already implemented, but you have to start pcmanfm with --desktop. The preferences are available via --desktop-pref.

Re: question about temperature monitor
The temperature monitor uses lm_sensors, so you need to run "sensors-detect" once and make sure the lm_sensors service is started on boot.

Re: Which distros work best with LXDE?
It seems this is a problem of unetbootin. Please try liveusb-creator and don't forget to verify the image after the download.YTurtle wrote:The LXDE spin of Fedora did look interesting, so I downloaded the torrent and loaded the iso to a usb stick using unetbootin

Fedora 12 LXDE Spin images withdrawn
I am very sorry to inform you that we just removed the Fedora 12 LXDE Spin from the BitTorrent Tracker because we found a major bug that makes the images unusable. The problem is a crash in lxde-settings-daemon that triggers abrt, the automatic bug reporting tool. Because lxde-settings-daemon gets r...
