Re: LXpanel no almacena la configuración
~ Sorry...I don't speak Spanish. It''s a bug in lxpanel 0.8.1 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=784725 I had the same problem, then re-installed lxpanel 0.7.2. and everything is OK. Then I blocked the update so I wouldn't get 0.8.1 again until I know for sure the bug is fixed. apt-ma...

Re: Why do I have to open everything from CLI for it to work
I was installing the server version, is that going to make a difference? ie should I install the desktop version instead? I would say start over from scratch, and just install the Lubuntu desktop by itself. Once you get it installed, there will be some cli, but not much. Afterward, you will be able...

Re: Change the windowcolour and themes ?
Hi Smilingsam. Look in your menu and see if you have "Openbox Configuration Manager". http://s19.postimg.org/4zirzr97n/menu_shot.png I would actually bet you don't. No problem. All you have to do is open the terminal and enter: sudo apt-get install obconf Then go back to your menu like abo...

Keep using that stick! Usually, the people grumbling about it didn't do it right. I just did an install from stick this morning, no problems.Alodar wrote:A lot of forums I've read seemed to denigrate it, but it worked alright for me.

it was written by the team. The forum was also begun by the team. It is their program, not mine, The few of us that reply to help questions on this forum are just average, everyday users with a shared interest in LXDE. "The Team" rarely, if ever, visit this forum. If you would like to get...

Re: PCManFM and GPicView
Hi simonik. Have you tired any other image viewers, like viewnior or miranda for functional comparison? Also, what happens if you open image files without pcmanfm running/open.? I've never used gpicview, but I have found that with pcmanfm open and using gthumb image viewer, the viewer is, for lack o...

Re: Design and the Roadmaps
The new Lubuntu 15.04 has this in their release announcement on Distrowatch: "This release of Lubuntu offers nine months of support and focuses on minor bug fixes as the development team prepares the distribution for a switch to the newer LXQt desktop environment ." You might try searching...

Re: Desktop apps are out of focus and bordersflash when star
Like drooly said, it would be good to know what distro you are using. If your distro is using openbox as a window manager, open the Openbox Configuration Manager. On the "Windows" tab, the very first entry is "Focusing Windows". Make sure there is a check in the box. That will, a...
