Re: What is the difference between LXDE & Lubuntu?
LXDE stands for Lightweight X Desktop Environment. It is not an operating system. It is installed on top of an operating system. There are roughly 40 plus OS that use it. Lubuntu (through the 18.04 version) is merely Ubuntu with LXDE installed on top of it. LXQT is the new desktop environment for Lu...

Re: LXDE and KDE at the same time

Re: is this screen expected or a bug?
Welcome to the lxde forums. First I believe that Ubuntu 14.04 reached its end of life last April so it is no longer supported. If you are going to stay with Ubuntu the current Long Term Support release is 18.04 and the most recent release is 19.10. Second the picture of the screen you are talking ab...

Re: Can't drag window to external monitor?
Guys, I don't believe that drag and drop has ever been supported in LXDE. There are ways to get around it though to accomplish the OP's goal of giving presentations on a TV, such as have the external monitor mirror the laptop monitor. opolanqu probably misunderstood the question because the response...

Re: Revisiting LXDE
For what it is worth, I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that the decision to move Lubuntu to LXQT was made because of a few individuals on the team who wanted to work on something new and exciting. Lubuntu in my opinion is no longer one of the "go to" distros for under powered, low Ram, or older comp...
Re: Tutorial
Not sure but as an alternative you could merely create a link to your tutorial and post it on uTube or a similar platform.

Re: Tutorial
Welcome to the LXDE forum. I have moved your thread to the LXDE cafe where it is probably a better fit since you are not asking for assistance.
