I have no idea what XQuartz is; maybe you need to adjust your screen settings/resolution somehow.

Re: How to use keyboard as mouse in lubuntu 21.10 ?
IMO, what you really need is some sort of accessibility software (usually for people that cannot, for whatever reasons, operate a mouse or touchpad). Here's a Ubuntu solution. most likely GNOME-specific: https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/mouse-mousekeys.html.en - maybe something similar is ...

Re: Restore Default Panel
I manage to remove the panel accidentally and struggled to get it back like it was. Is there a way to store the default panel? The panel I am referring to is the one at the bottom of the desktop. In windows, it is called the taskbar. Have you tried simply restarting it? Or, have you logged out and ...

Re: Shortcut for Lightdm restart
Chances are your raspberry Pi's OS uses systemd, so the first command is right.
Have you tried entering that command without sudo? Maybe it'll work.
If not, you have to find a way to enter the password graphically - try "sudo -A systemctl restart lightdm".

Re: NetSpeed plugin - applet for lxpanel
Your options for lxpanel specifically are limited to the plugins that are available for it - or you can write your own. I forget where, but I think there was a dummy plugin somewhere you can use as a starting point. FWIW, I display my network speeds on my root window with conky. Or you could use xfc...

Re: Noob: How to compile and prepare LXDE for Alpine Linux
I have a few questions: 1) Is the LXDE GitHub the correct repository for all the current LXDE stack/components? I'm not sure. The sourceforge pages look outdated, but e.g. ArchLinux LXDE packages get sources from there. The github pages show much more activity. 2) Does the LXDE GitHub contain the p...

Re: Using autostart hangs
So, do I understand correctly: a graphical login hangs as soon as you add these commands without these commands the graphical login does not hang the commands work fine executed by themselves ??? You can always try appending an ampersand to each command, like so: xinput map-to-output 8 HDMI-1 & ...

Re: What does Laptop Mode do?
In LXSession, under settings, it asks me if I want to use Laptop Mode. What difference does it make? I can't seem to find any answers anywhere. You can't? https://www.startpage.com/do/search?query=linux+what+is+laptop+mode I'm sure that search has some answers for you. If it doesn't please ask more...
