LXDE would not start (Gentoo)

Post by PQPGuy »

I am trying to get LXDE working on Gentoo, but it wouldn't start. First, upon executing startlxde, I was given an error message
cp: cannot stat '/usr/share/lxde/pcmanfm/pcmanfm.conf': No such file or directory
So, I symlink'd this file to /etc/xdg/pcmanfm/default/pcmanfm.conf and upgraded to pcmanfm-1.2.5. Now, when I run startlxde, this command has absolutely no effect.

I do have openbox installed, but I don't have the startx command. (This last one, I guess, is by design).

Someone could help?

Many thanks.
