Cannot boot into LXDE
I am using ubuntu 18.04. However I want to use a light weight desktop environment as a backup, so I install LXDE using I install it successfully with no errors, however when I log out(even reboot) I found no option to login into LXDE environment. What shall I do next?
Re: Cannot boot into LXDE
how exactly and what exactly did you install?
when you boot up, is there a login screen where you enter username/password? that's where you also choose which desktop session you want.

Use this command instead to install only vanilla LXDE:
sudo apt-get install lxde
Log out after installing either package and select either the Lubuntu or LXDE session from the login screen.
