We are a small forum and are constantly looking for new members who can provide assistance in their area of expertise. Since this forum concerns a desktop environment there are many possible Operating Systems that can be involved so whatever your OS we can use you.

There is a new blue LXDE desktop on http://blog.lxde.org/?p=317. A user named Fred indicated he had designed it as well as the older ones. A Google Image search came up with the same graphic, but I also found it in five additional colors.

If Fred sees this, they all look fantastic and I have downloaded them all. Thank you. I'm using the black graphic as the desktop wallpaper.

Nice wallpapers! I messed with a few of the included ones, looking to achieve more of a depth. I am constantly reaching to achieve more depth to the LXDE desktop to make it look more interesting since I feel it is severely interesting! I also did the same for the logout menu and will say is quite colorful! Figure no need to post the logout and menu icon as can be easily downloaded from http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... ent=168759 Of course gtk-2.0 goes quite nicely on the LXDE desktop and size of download is less than size of picture would upload. I am all ears for learning to achieve even more 3D type looks on LXDE as is great creating the illusion gtk-2.0 is gtk-3.0. Also in plain english, it looks good. Ever since I got it to look this way has made me enjoy LXDE more. Here's one of the wallpapers I colored, hoping someone may like it. So far am thumbs at trying to create one from scratch. Never was any kind of artist on paper. Better with words in scripting.
